Fiona is a highly accomplished tutor with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering Summa Cum Laude from NJIT. Her tutoring philosophy centers around adapting her strategies to meet the individual learning styles of her students. She excels in creating visual diagrams, step-by-step problem-solving directions, and interactive graphs to cater to different learning preferences.

In addition to her academic achievements, Fiona has also contributed significantly to research projects, including her work as a research assistant at NJIT’s Lee Lab, where she studied Mouse Embryonic Stem Cells derived Cardiomyocytes injected into a hydrogel as a therapeutic for myocardial infarction.

Outside of her academic pursuits, Fiona indulges in her passion for coffee making, finding joy in the science and artistry of brewing coffee and creating espresso-based beverages. She also channels her creativity into painting humorous artworks, which she generously shares with her friends and family.

Fiona's dedication to tutoring began with volunteering at her local church, where she tutored students in grades 1-12, focusing on math and science. Her commitment to education continued through college, where she worked in the Math Tutoring Center at NJIT, specializing in Calculus I, Calculus II, and College Algebra. Fiona's love for tutoring extended beyond graduation as she began private tutoring in her neighborhood, further solidifying her connection to her community.
